oh man i an soooooooooooooooooo bummed out......... we have been waiting for 4 weeks to hear back from small black , ryan and co dependency film did such and an AMAZING job cuttin' all of the beautiful footage (when i say this i mean it. the guys at co-dependency film did an incredible job making what could have been a only 2 minutes of footage in to a beautiful FULLL LENGTH video,) and cutting it to this song by small black only to get a rejection from them today saying that they don't want us to use their song in the video. which means that we have to wait again to release the video, film i should say. the guys a co dependancy did such an amazing job they had 3 cameras and they cut an awesome video and now we are at square one :( i wish you could have seen what an amazin' job they did but now you are going to have to wait again to see. i am so saddddddddd.......... i wish they would have told us weeks ago instead of making us wait 4 weeks to say no. i really wish you could have seen the AMAZING job ryan and the guys at co-dependancy.alas, it is going to be a couple more weeks before we decide what song to now cut the video to. but dont worry when we finally do release it you are going to DIEEEEEEEEEEE. because the video is incredible and we have co-dependancy to thank for that!

fright night/deep thrusts
hi all ,
went to see a pattern drafter on monday, excitin'.
We are releasing a few peices for fall. We are working real hard to keep them
"competitively priced" as people say
but of course still hand made in los angeles (and well made).
they are going to be really awesome for fall.
when we went to the pattern drafter i kinda made a fool of myself, but since this is a regular
occurrence, no big deal right?
we think we are going to offer some of the pieces through our website so keep your eyes peeled.
we went on a hike with krissie today, we met some real cute dogs other then oliver!
(morgan was being a real bad dog-we let her off the leash and she pretended to be cool for a
few mins then as soon as we stopped watching her tried to attach oliver! SHOCKING! morgan is a real bitch).
as per usual i was dying and everybody was fine... not fine i am a real lame hike partner.

new mctega project
i got a new computer! so no more complaining for me !
i call him "mortimer: legacy" because my last computer was called mortimer and i had the contents of my hard drive installed into this computer so it essentially has the spirit of mortimer in it.
last month mctega and co-dependency film trucked 18 people to the top of a mountain, (trust me when i say there was some off roading involved) in the middle of san bernardinos' angeles forest to film a little fashion video. everyone involved is dying to release it we are just waiting on the green light to use the song the video was cut to. so we thought we would just post a little teaser screen shot for you to admire
this shoot was crazy style, first off it was insanely cold i am talking like 40 degrees and poor rachael was wearing next to nothing... sorry rachael thats how we like you!!! krissie torgerson was styling: we always have soooo much fun with krissie. we love working with krissie because she always shows us new ways of looking at our work. but dispite the fun and the cheese plate it was kind of misreable beacuse of the excruciating cold and that fact that it was soo windy that the trailer was shaking! jose monzon was doing the hair and make up and was so incredible to work with ! the work that he did was so jaw dropping and took the video to the next level. the guys were great, ryan and his team had 4 cameras that they were working with so that even when we were only able to shoot each look for a matter of minutes, the footage that they got was amazing. rachaels beauty might have been tooo much for some of them but we made it through.
hope we get to post the video soon we are dying tooooo........../

damn it.
my computer is kaput.
dammnnnn it. i am on sarahs new laptop that i cannot navigate to save my life. the keys on the keyboard are all spaced out and i keep on hitting the caps lock button instead of the "a". no offense laptop but fuck this laptop. my very own computer is beyond repair and when we took it to the mac mall... (yes this is a real place) the dudes said there is nothing that could be done. again fuck that. i miss my computer. i had a 5 year relationship with it. maybe it was old but it was mine!i called him mortimer and i didnt get to say goodbye..................
on a happier note our order to the tannery went out last week and we are dying at how awesome it came out. we keep/kept on imagining what it would have been like to receive that order and how exciting opening that box would be. they made a super cool order tons of belts and necklaces and i have to say i spent so much gd time on handwork for the belts that i am quite exhausted. a good kind of exhausted, just dont ask me to sew anything up for you, ok?!
none the less we have been working around heerrrrr.

so we are going to extend the due date to send in a picture of yourself to be considered for the contest:
